The Differences and similarities
These two may seem like opposites, but in reality, they are working off one another with these key similarities that are out there. The hemp plant contains a lot more CXBD in it, and the cannabis plant contains more THC. The CBD in
hemp is pretty much what is part of the profile of that. THC of course is pretty much due to cannabis as a plant and the ancestor as well.
The chemical makeup
Both of these have pretty much the same effects, with both of them having the same 30 hydrogen atoms, the same 21 carbon atoms, and of course 2 atoms of oxygen. How are they not the same then? That’s because the arrangement differs
with both, the arrangements mean that it’ll affect you differently, and they bind to different neurotransmitters as well to the brain, so the effects are different. Speaking of psychoactive effects, that’s another major difference.
This is something that’s very known in THC, where it gets you high. CBD of course also is psychoactive, despite a lot of people saying this, but it hits the serotonin receptors than other parts, and usually they pale compared to THC
and its power. THC can get you high, but CBD won’t do the same, and will instead change your mood and may actually have mild sedative properties. Usually, CBD is great for physiological response, and CBD has a noticeable feel to
it too, but it’s not overwhelming.
The Legal Status
CBD is a lot more favorable in the legal status area, and it’s legal in all 50 states with a few caveats too. THC and cannabis are still illegal in a lot of places. However, in 37 states, this is becoming more and more legal, with
THC becoming popular for recreational uses as well, and there is some conflicting notions of whether or not THC actually should be as illegal as CBD is in some cases.
They both do show up on drug tests too just as a heads up. CBD appears if the results are for directly testing CBD itself, and if you used a product that has CBD in it that also contains THC, it’ll show up a lot more too. Deepening
on the test type, THC is more detectable for about 30 days or longer, so the more heavily and frequently you use it, the mor likely the drug test will be positive.
Uses and Benefits
There are different benefits and strong healing. THC is great for nausea, and also may even help with some types of cancers too. CBD in it of itself is a bit more predictable though and offers the following benefits:
Relaxes you
Lowers anxiety
Helps with chronic pain
Reduces inflammation
Redoes neuropathic pain
Helps with seizures
More energetic
The thing though is that CBD doesn’t have enough cannabinoids and terpenes, and a lot of the medical benefits are because of this, and that of course creates that entourage effect that’s there. A lot also may argue that the benefits
of CBD do get grossly overstated, and there is a difference in quality between medical cannabis products that are hemp derived, and a lot of them that just flood the market.
These are the main differences, and you should look at both.

What are Cannaflavins
Cannaflavins are what the compounds that make up what’s called prenylated flavonoids in the cannabis plant, specifically sativa strains. They’re important for secondary metabolite functions within the plant, and they offer various
properties that are therapeutic, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, anticancer, and also neuroprotection as well. They are unique specifically to the plant itself, and while they are the main ones, it opened the door to
flavones, and also a bigger flavonoid group that’s there found all across the kingdom of plants. Flavonoids are natural chemicals and are also called polyphenols.
They’re essential for pigmentation, and antioxidant benefits. Because of this, they’re known to be what’s called secondary metabolites, which means that they’re good for plants, but not essential to the growth and survival, or even
the reproduction of plants itself. They can treat everything from cancers to inflammatory disorders, and a whole lot more.
How they work
They are synthesized through a biosynthesis pathway, and this is a general flavone type of path, utilizing two enzymes, with one of them creating general flavones, and the other one more specific. These two enzymes do modify the structure,
and this is done through methylation and also prenylation reactions, which helps with retention across different cell targets.
This does suggest that you can create strategies to produce more of the cannflavins that are out there which would be helpful for a couple of reasons. The fist is that they’re restricted directly towards the cannabis plant, and only
a small amount of these are able to be extracted from this.
Another major feature of this is of course the entourage effect that’s there. This is pretty much when the parts of the cannabis plant interact and work with each other to produce major benefits.
Health Benefits of Such
Currently, there is little evidence on the health benefits and the uses of canaflavins that are utilized in clinical settings. But die to 26 different studies that are based off different summaries, it was found that there are promising
therapeutic benefits of this. For starters, it’s got some very strong anti-inflammatory properties cannflavins do benefit the production of the lipids that are associated with prostaglandins, and this means that it was put to help
with the response of inflammation to those inflammatory diseases there. It also helps with the enzyme associated with leukotriene production, which is another compound that’s a part of inflammatory conditions.
It also could be used as a way to help naturally relieve pain. This is good beau cannaflavins don’t have addictive properties, which makes it ideal for those looking to get off medications such as NSAIDs and opioids.Another study showed
that the rheumatoid cells and the prostaglandins release also further demonstrate the potential of such as a way to relieve the symptoms associated with this too. It also can help with different properties, in ways that are stronger
than aspirin too.It also comes with anticancer elements to this. This is in is cannaflavin B, which is an isomer of cannaflavin B and it is slightly different in structure, but same properties.
This is also effective for pancreatic cancer and other parts to this too. It’s attached to different radiotherapy biomaterials too, which is a kind of cancer treatment. The results do prove promising, with an increase in survival as
well of the body, and a decrease the secondary tumors as well. Finally, it does have neuroprotective elements, which may help with reducing plaque that does contribute to the presence of Alzheimer’s too. It’s something that can help
with a lot of conditions, and in other ways too.
